Denmark & Sweden Photo Diary

This past week was my college’s spring break. And while there’s nothing wrong with the whole drunken trip to the beach, “spraaang breaaaak” lifestyle, it’s not really for me. So instead, I was lucky enough to cross something big off of my bucket list: I went to Denmark and Sweden! Both of these countries, specifically their capitols, have been on my list for years, so it was so exciting for me to be able to visit!

Paris Fashion Week Favorites

So I’m a little behind on Paris fashion week…but I have a good reason, I promise! You’ll be getting a post on that soon. But back to Paris! This is always my favorite week in fashion month because we get to see all of the best—Chanel, Saint Laurent, Valentino…the list goes on. That being said, it was VERY hard for me to narrow down my favorites! But I did my best. Here are just a few of my frontrunners for this season:

Milan Fashion Week Fall 2016 Favorites

If you've read my last few posts, you'll already know that I've been diligently following fashion week since the first day in New York! Now that Milan is just about over, I collected some of my favorite looks for you! I love how colorful and exuberant Milan shows are. However, I always gravitate toward the neutrals! So even when looking at shows from one of the most colorful cities in the world, most of my favorite looks were black or brown. Sorry.

Why You Should Learn How to Embroider

If you ever scroll through Etsy or Instagram, you’ve probably noticed that the popularity of embroidery hoops is on the rise.  And while I’m all for supporting small businesses and buying their hoop art, I also really want to encourage you to try it for yourself. It may seem like a granny-ish thing to do but it’s actually becoming a really cool and trendy activity right now! There are so many benefits to the hobby that I’ve found since I picked it up myself, and I want to share them with you; hopefully I can convince you to try it out!

I know I already mentioned last week how much I love fashion month...but I LOVE fashion month. Today is the first day of Milan (yay!), which means London just ended yesterday.
